My Wife's Uncle plants peas and we end up with so many. They give them away to a bunch of people due to the amount that are produced in a relatively small space. Not a fan, but everyone loves them.

oh ya no shortage of peas around here, the people with lots of land plant a stupid amount and tell everybody to just go pick. Not sure if there are any automatic separators for fresh peas, just the dried ones. probably why they are so expensive fresh.

There has to be a way to speed up the process, but it's probably not a cheap way.

these pods are really tough, not sure how a mechanical separator would work?
