The Diary Game: Attending My Friend's Son's Birthday Party And A Host Of Other Activities (16-07-2025)

What's up people, how you doing? It's almost weekend and I'm getting ready to enjoy myself, the week went from Monday to Thursday in twenty four hours. It's been a busy week for me but I'm happy that amidst this, I can still make out time for my steem mates. I'm fine though felt a bit weak yesterday after the day's run and couldn't catch up with you, promise to do better in the coming days. Yesterday being Wednesday was a great day, it was my friend's son's birthday which actually was celebrated, bought some new bed wraps for my bed and host of other activities. I'm going to be breaking them down soon, I hope I get your attention. It's no one else bringing the diary your way but your new steem mate @bendelta28.

I woke up yesterday morning with a heavy heart, there's something I've been hoping and expecting but it's not forthcoming and that made me sober but I still gathered the courage to face the day despite my mood and feeling. I had morning devotion with my wife as usual and then went outside to sweep the compound. After sweeping, I rushed to a daily market close to my home to buy crayfish for my shop as I was out of it. On getting to the market, the crayfish had just arrived and the prices were friendly not like the amount I'd be charged at a bigger market. I checked for the biggest size and more good looking and made payment, I took it back to the shop and part it into smaller units for sale.

In the afternoon when my wife arrived the shop, she handed me my lunch and after I had eaten and had some hours rest, I took permission to rush to my friend's son's birthday party. My wife gave me a weird look which seemed suspicious but I assured her that it's a birthday party I'm going for and nothing else, she permitted me and I dashed out of the shop. On arriving their home, the celebrant was having a photo session and I joined but unfortunately I didn't remember to take pictures with my own phone. I handed him the little gift I had gotten for him, stayed for a while and left.

On my way home, I saw a store that we're opening their bale of beddings. I have planned for the longest time now to get new beddings so I walked into the store, greeted the owner and mentioned the sizes of beddings I needed. I was shown a section to make my choice and I picked the one I liked most. I took it home after making payment, I want to present it as a surprise to my wife because she had said she would always get it but none of us did. When I got home, I was so exhausted and decided to rest.

I slept and almost woke up the next day if not for my wife who woke me up when she returned from the shop so I could help her prepare dinner, I still felt sleepy when I got out of bed but needed to compose so as not to upset my wife. I helped her with some preparations for dinner and she cooked a sumptuous afang soup for dinner. When it was ready, we had our bath before having the dinner.

After eating, I relaxed for some minutes while my wife did the dishes. When she was done, I presented the beddings to her and I caught her by surprise. She thanked me and went to bed as she herself was also tired from the day's work and needed some rest as much as I did. That's my Wednesday in details, untill my next post.
