The Diary Game: Went To The Slaughter To Buy Meat And Restocking My Kitchen With Foodstuffs(15-08-2025)

Good evening everyone, it's @bendelta28 here and I'm about to gist you of my activities today. It's safe to say I woke up at the slaughter today, I got there very early because I wanted to meat fresh meat and have a good pick. So I set out very early to the slaughter after saying my morning prayers, brushing my mouth and taking my bath. When I got there, some women were already there before me and I wondered why they were not in their houses lying on their beds with their husbands but out here in the cold struggling to buy meat.

The meat was just being killed and burned, it was dressed before it was brought to the table for slaughter, I named the parts I wanted and it was sold to me. The total amount I spent on buying meat was bout eight thousand naira, I went back home. On getting home, my wife had swept the compound which normally was my chores to handle but since I went out very early she decided to stand in the gap for me.

In the afternoon while at the shop, I felt very hungry even when I had eaten before leaving the house. I bought a pack of biscuit from my wife and she noticed how hungry I was, she went back home and brought good so we could eat for lunch. She took longer than I thought and when she was back, she told me she had to make garri that the one at home would've not been enough for us. We ate the meal and relaxed after, I drank a lot of water for digestion and I regained myself.

In the evening, I closed the shop by 6pm and went to my wife's shop to buy foodstuffs from her. I wanted to restock my kiy hem so we won't run out of foodstuffs in a hurry, she was so happy that she made a huge sales and her biggest customer is her husband. It's good to marry an odugwu, even though I may not look it because of my small stature.
