Masjid Raya Pase is located in the heart of Panton Labu City, right beside the Banda Aceh - Medan National Road. Its strategic location makes this mosque a frequent stopover for travelers and local residents. From a distance, the splendor of this mosque is already apparent with its green dome and towering minarets. The surrounding atmosphere is lively yet calm.

The mosque was first established in 1972 and continues to undergo development until now. The front yard is quite spacious and clean, with palm trees that make the atmosphere cool. There is also an adequate parking area for both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. Motorbikes are usually parked neatly on the side of the courtyard, showing that this mosque is indeed crowded, especially when prayer time arrives.

In addition to the whudu place in the back area, there is also a hut or musholla made from Buton buildings. This place is the only resting place for every community that stops by here, usually the ones who often sit in this place are women who are menstruating or absent. In addition, this place is also often used and utilized when there are events such as sacrifices and so on.

For ablutions, there are two locations. At the back of the mosque, there is a fairly large ablution area with a water kulah that can be used to collect water traditionally. Meanwhile, at the front, on the left side of the mosque, there is also an additional ablution place. Both places can be used by both men and women, for women on the right and for men on the left or next to each other, and all are clean and well-maintained.

The mosque's toilets are also separated for men and women, and appear to be quite clean. This makes visitors feel comfortable when visiting or stopping by to pray.

In addition to modern whudu places, namely with taps, this mosque also provides a whudu pool or kulah that holds a lot of holy water, every week the water is changed to maintain comfort and purity and cleanliness.

In terms of facilities, the Pase Grand Mosque is equipped with various adequate equipment. Inside the main room of the mosque, the atmosphere feels solemn with fans installed at several points to maintain the comfort of worshipers. The pulpit is made of carved wood that looks elegant but simple, becoming the center of attention when the imam delivers the sermon. A long thick prayer mat is spread neatly on the tiled floor, making anyone feel at home to linger for worship.

Interestingly, the mosque also has a second floor that is under construction. The structure is already standing, but it is not yet fully completed, so it cannot be used for prayers. Nevertheless, this is proof that the development of the mosque continues to accommodate more worshipers in the future.

Inside the mosque, there are also shelves containing the Qur'an and several Islamic books that can be read at leisure.

Masjid Raya Pase is also one of the large mosques in North Aceh district and is recognized by many Acehnese people with all its beauty and advantages. This mosque is always active in the implementation of the five daily prayers, tarawih worship during the holy month of Ramadan, Friday worship and other sunnah worship.

Overall, Masjid Raya Pase is not only a place of worship, but also part of the identity of Panton Labu City. Its easy-to-reach location, fairly complete facilities, and calming atmosphere make this mosque suitable as a place to stop, worship, and deepen faith in the midst of life's ongoing journey.
