Located at the top of the cool and charming Mount Salak, RG Coffee, also known as Welcome to Rangkang Gunung, has emerged as one of the newest tourist attractions on the rise. This place used to be known as Alam Lestari, but since undergoing major renovations and changing management, its face has changed completely. Now, RG Coffee presents an atmosphere that is more organized, more aesthetic, and certainly more comfortable to relax. The location is right on the main road of Mount Salak, making it very accessible for anyone who wants to enjoy a cup of coffee while gazing at the beauty of nature.

When I arrived in the afternoon, the cold mountain air immediately greeted me gently. The air feels fresh, and the atmosphere is serene, accompanied only by the sounds of nature flowing naturally from the dense trees surrounding the area. The natural scenery is incredible, with lush forests sprawling around the cafe, making this place feel like it's in another world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. RG Coffee truly offers the serenity that many people are looking for, especially for those who want to take a break from the daily grind.

The facilities provided here are very complete and adequate. The tables and chairs available are quite numerous and all look new and clean, neatly arranged both in the open space and under the huts provided.

There are also small gardens that add a touch of aesthetics in some corners of the location, very suitable to be used as a photo background. Not only that, there are also prayer rooms for visitors who want to worship and toilets that are kept clean. This is an important point because not all mountain tourist attractions provide supporting facilities this well.

Aside from the view and facilities, RG Coffee also excels in menu variety. I myself ordered a cup of espresso and a portion of regular fried noodles. The espresso was quite strong and aromatic, perfect for enjoying when the mountain air starts to cool down. The espresso costs Rp 12,000, or if converted to the current Steem price (Rp 2,550.70 per Steem), it is equivalent to 4.63 Steem. Meanwhile, the fried noodles I ordered were simple but delicious, warm and perfect to eat while gazing at the hills. The fried noodles are priced at Rp 16,000 or around 6.16 Steem. A very friendly price for a location that offers beauty like this.

The name Rangkang Gunung that is now attached to RG Coffee is not just a pretty name, but also reflects the distinctive mountain atmosphere that this place offers. The word “rangkang” itself in the local language can refer to a kind of hut or shelter, which matches the many small huts provided for visitors. The atmosphere created here is very friendly - perfect for families, couples, and even solo travelers looking for inspiration or peace of mind.

Visually, RG Coffee offers many interesting spots to take pictures. Be it the small gardens, the corner of the building with a natural wooden backdrop, or the wide view that opens directly to the green ravines below. Every visitor is sure to find their own favorite corner to sit, relax, or capture the moment against the stunning natural backdrop of Mount Salak. With the warm afternoon sun, the golden light shining through the trees adds a magical feel that is hard to find anywhere else.

It's not just a place to drink coffee, but also to enjoy the whole experience: from the cool mountain air, to the beautiful green panorama, to the hospitality of the place and the service.
