I finished my breakfast
And then I asked my daughter to drop me at The Lake Burley Griffin. Junior was home so he instantly got ready and insisted on joining me.
3rd of this month was one of those rare days when I didn't write a post. It was a day I spent roaming the streets and markets of Canberra with my young companion.
Yep, it was a day I spent most of it doing nothing, no shopping or meeting with my clients, not even riding a bike but walking all the way.
Sunday 10am
As I said I asked my daughter to drop me at The Lake Burley Griffin. There is a lot to watch and admire its serene shores, and the lovely people, especially the lovebirds, and yes, the real birds too.
It made my Sunday delightful, but the junior was not happy. He is happy only when swimming in the water but walking along the water is not his idea.
So we took a bus and reached Majura Park and did some window shopping before moving on to Fishwick and entering the food court.
Wow, this place has wonderfully curated gourmet food, and this court offers a feast for the senses, allowing us to savor delicious treats while watching the colorful shoppers walking past in their stunning outfits.
I have always felt that this area with Majura Park and Fishwick located near Canberra airport have a vast range of attractions including the markets play areas for several days of exploration.
For instance, I have described Flip Out in one of my posts and of course, I have visited several other markets in this particular premise.
Coffee club is my favorite but a complex issue when Junior is with me. The answer is what I like is finding out my preference in coffee.
I like it more chocolatey or sometimes fruity in flavor, and when I pass through this Coffee Club, it is hard to resist, but not when this kid is with me.
This coffee club offers what preferences in coffee I have the best for me. And yes, I like Aspen being a more chocolate-forward coffee.
But when this kid is with me I have no choices but go for Boost. Okay, he likes strawberry, and I like mango and that settles it.
So we sat here for around one hour and first I went to the Subway.
First of all, I went to Subway and bought one veggie patty with mozzarella cheese, lettuce, spinach, tomato, onion, carrot, cucumber, garlic aioli, and a lot of sweet chill sauce, served on a white wrap.
And one Chicken Schnitzel for junior with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, carrot, garlic aioli, served on a White Wrap.
But to be frank he is fan of Boost. Yep, my little companion was here to drink Boost juice which is his favorite juice and smoothie in this world-famous bar.
My kid loves Boost and keeps repeating ‘Try’ because that means I’ll get him his favorite juice. and why not this business has a logo "You don’t try. You just do it.” So he keeps repeating it.
This outlet has taken us to this place time and again. I guess it has attracted me to smoothies and juices ever since I arrived in Canberra. I guess it has become one of my most favorite drinks brands.
The best part of the story is that this brand is available everywhere I go as they say Boost has over 580 stores not only in Australia but worldwide, including India.
But excuse me we’re not here to give the Boost a rating or writing about their great tasting smoothies and juices. We wanted to drink them and that's what we did.
Then we stopped at Fila where he bought a pair of shoes.
I did more window shopping
It was too cloudy and drizzling so I called my daughter to pick us up.
You can see junior is busy with screen while I am a bit tired after walking so much. we were back by 5 PM.
