My Diary Game: MY DAY AND SCHOOL RESUMPTION – 15/9/2025
Hello Steemians, I believe you are having a nice time wherever you are?
Let's journey through my day. It was about school resumption. At the close of every school session, schools must prepare themselves for the next academic year. It wasn't different from The Presbyterian International Nursery and Primary School, where I am the chaplain. We did as much as we could, but the resumption date is not to be taken for granted. What and what happened, and my entire day becomes my storyline.
Morning Activities Activities
First is morning devotion; I then took my bath and went to school. I rarely eat in the morning. When I got to school, I had mixed feelings, as some teachers came very late, and few of them were absent, and the head teacher could not defend or give me a reasonable excuse for their absence. Should I give them the query to answer? Isn't it too early? I had to focus on the business of the day.
I supervised as classrooms were cleansed, and offices and other places were thoroughly cleaned.
We had a devotion in the school assembly; thereafter, we went back to class, and learning commenced immediately. I spent time in my office to put things in place for the new session, including planning for a solemn assembly to help the spiritual life and resources of the school.
Afternoon Activities
I was in school until the afternoon, as I was busy attending to teachers and parents at some points. I was reading, and I prayed also.
It was a rainy day, as we know the season. At 1:30, it was still raining, so I could not leave the school even when I wanted to. Trying to catch up at home means I have to join the school bus.

Evening Record
When I got home from school, I rested. But then I remembered my wife had informed me that our hot plate (used for cooking) had burnt. I had to take it in for repairs, and I came back at about 4:34 pm. While relaxing at home I got some visitors, and I had a nice time playing Ludo until they left at about 5:41 pm.
I was then on my phone watching some reels and photos of Hilda Ba's record-breaking cooking ofng the large pot of jollof rice.
I listened to the news; my wife then brought my dinner, and I ate and continued with the news until 10pm, when I retired to bed.
