My Diary Game: My Day at Union Bank and Printing Disappointment—19/9/2025

Greetings to wonderful Steemians, every day belongs to God. We only wake up to carry out activities depending on how we planned them, and acknowledging God will give us grace and success daily. So yesterday was also bright and fair as I engaged with my plan. Let me take you through from morning until evening.

I always have devotion first, and I observed it with my family. I was unable to perform transactions with my Union Bank account, and knowing that it would be difficult to get through it during the weekend, I had to suspend every other schedule for it. I left the house at about 9 am for the bank located at Abak Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. When I got there, the person I met attended to me immediately. The process didn't take too much time. But when I stepped out from the bank to use their ATM, I discovered the ATM card was damaged and could not be read by the machine. I had to move to the POS and make a withdrawal. On leaving the bank premises, along the way I saw a longtime friend from my community; we spent some time exchanging pleasantries and went in opposite directions.

When I came back, I just rested and engaged myself with domestic services. Later, I had to work on the video I was editing on CapCut. I need to correct some errors for me to have a good job. I spent hours on it because of other distractions and welcoming visitors.

I went out to the computer service center for the prints that I gave them. When I got there, it was disappointing that my job was not done. I needed to pick it up and deliver it by the weekend, but it wasn't possible. I just had to understand and manage the situation because even if I quarrel with them, the work is not ready, so there is no need to get myself upset. While I was there, I saw a beautiful pair of shoes, fitting for my son as he is about to resume school. I had to buy it.

I didn't plan for that, but it was necessary. I was there until about 6:34 pm. I then left and went home, I listened to the news, ate, and went to bed.

I started the day with devotion before I prepared to go to the bank to sort out my transaction issue. On my way back, I met a sister and exchanged pleasantries. In the afternoon, I was at home already working on my videos with CapCut and receiving visitors, and in the evening, I went to the computer service center for my job that was not done yet. It was disappointing, but I managed the situation. I bought a pair of shoes for my son. Later that evening, I was in the house, listened to the news, and had my dinner before I went to bed.

1. When you notice something fishy with your bank, go to the bank immediately before you're scammed.
2. Always bear in mind that you may be faced with disappointment; manage your anger when you see such.
