The Diary Game: A Day That Started With A Smile And Also Ended With A Smile {14-08-2025}

Hello guys, welcome to my blog, today I will be taking you briefly through a happy day of mine and how I escaped something terrible. It all began in the morning when I stood up from bed then I went to go and greet daddy and mommy in their room before I came outside to sweep the compound, you can see how I was smiling, mind you smiles doesn't really mean that all is going on very well with the person, it only shows how resilient you are not to allow the prevailing circumstances weigh you down, some times people who smile are people who mostly don't figure things out but still manages to put up a smile and I am one of those.

After I finished sweeping the whole compound, mommy had finished preparing breakfast for us, you know we are only three in the house; me, mommy and daddy, the rest of my siblings are either outside the country or outside the state so right now I am left with myself and my parents at home And if there is anything I can always bank on my mom is how she manages to cook with a single mistake and at my age I am still struggling with small small kitchen mistakes always hoping to get better. Anyway, she fried potatoes and I used tea to eat it.

After I finished eating, I took daddy's clothes outside so that I can go and wash them now that there is sun to dry the clothes. I think we are on August break because for the past 3 days there has been no rainfall and I like it, things are beginning to dry up and that has always been my prayers these day. The clothes weren't much then after washing them I had to put them under the sun for them to dry.

After I finished drying the clothes, I went inside and took my bath because since morning I woke up I didn't take my bath, after bathing I went to the sitting room and there I went through my project against my defence that is coming up in the next few weeks and I have to prepare for it very well.

I read till 3pm and when I stood up from the couch where I stayed to read, I went to go and look at the snail farm my daddy just constructed, we have about 50 snails breeding here and I am looking forward to days we will be having hundreds of snails here. I gave them over riped pawpaw as their food before going back inside.

When I went inside, I had to do face time with my boyfriend that is outside the state now, he travelled since last week and we only video call each other to stay in touch. When we ended up the long facetime, I hurriedly went to the kitchen to fix us something for dinner.

I took the plantain in the house and peeled it then made vegetable sauce so that we can use it to it. And for the mere fact that it's one of my best meal, I know daddy and mommy weren't going to eat much that was why I had to put it mid so that they don't come and stress me.

When mommy and daddy came back, I dished the boiled plantain and the vegetable sauce then gave them to eat after that I took my own share to my room and ate it till I was satisfied. The food is still in the pot incase you need some. Thank you for this heart of Goodnews and kindness.
