Hulk Hogan has passed away at 71

Hulk Hogan has passed away at 71. Medics were reportedly called to his Florida home for a cardiac arrest this morning.

Whether you grew up during Hulkamania or caught the highlights later, it’s impossible to overstate how massive he was for wrestling and pop culture.

Some of his biggest accomplishments:

  • Headlined 8 of the first 9 WrestleMania events, becoming the face of WWF’s rise in the '80s
  • That legendary match vs André the Giant in ’88 pulled over 33 million TV viewers
  • 6x WWF/WWE Champion
  • First wrestler to win back-to-back Royal Rumbles (1990 & 1991)
  • Two-time WWE Hall of Famer – solo in 2005 and with the nWo in 2020
  • Appeared in “Rocky III,” and starred in the reality show “Hogan Knows Best”

He was way more than just a wrestler — he was an icon.

Rest easy, Hulkster

It is truly sad to see that my childhood hero is going back home, if this story is true, I am wishing him the best rest he can ever get in life after death.

Rest on Hulk.
