Thinking Cup - Gourmet Coffee Shop

Thinking Cup

Today, I will talk about a hidden gem in Dhaka, which is located in North Kafrul, Dhaka Cantonment. You will find this restaurant just a little away from the highway by taking a rickshaw or a mini bus. The one I was referring to so far is called the Thinking Cup. I find their name very interesting. Whatever their name is, when it comes to food, you are sure to fall in love with them.I came to know about this restaurant from some review posts in some Facebook groups where their food was praised. Since I like to try food from different places, it was at the top of my choice list. I took the opportunity to go and try their food. Talking about their environment, you can assume that their restaurant is clean and tidy. Their staff was very good. If your budget is 5 dollars (600 taka) to 10 Dollars (1200 taka) for 2 people, then this can be your best choice. Their restaurant is not so hyped, so you will find a chilled atmosphere. Once you try their food, I am sure you will want to eat again.

Location:

1st Floor, 30/1 North Kafrul, Kachukhet, Cantonment, Mirpur, 1206. You have to take a rickshaw from the Dhaka Scenic Club to Kachukhet, which is near the Thinking Cup, near the Best Buy Shop. If you want to come by metro train, get off at Mirpur 10 and take a rickshaw to Kachukhet. You will see it as soon as you get off Kachukhet and head towards Best Buy.

They open from 12 PM and close at 11 PM. They are open 7 days a week.

Manu :

In their appetizers, you will find chicken, fries, and fish items. They have some set menus which basically have rice items with chicken or fish. They have some options for salad items. But they have pasta. Talking about the taste of pasta, I have to say. I will eat there again if I get a chance. Their food prices seem a bit high. But the food test is worth giving 8 out of 10. They have pizza options there. I talked to others about their pizza, and they said they liked it. The pizza has a lot of cheese, which is a plus point for cheese lovers. They have chicken wings and many interesting 8-piece. They also have some coffee options. If you have kids with you, you can also feed them ice cream.

Environment:

The restaurant is very nice; it covers an entire floor. There are some tables for 2 people each. Most of them have seating for 4 people. It is a family-friendly restaurant. Everything is clean and tidy. There is a smoking zone for smokers, which you will see on the left-hand side after entering the restaurant. They have washrooms and are neat and clean. They will give you the menu. There is no self-service or pay fast option here. You can order their food on Foodpanda. All meals are served within 15 minutes of ordering.

Pro Tips:

When ordering food, try the pizza and pasta. The restaurant is a bit less crowded in the afternoon. You can sit at the street-side tables and enjoy the view of the street.
