The cool air welcomes us, when in the city of Saree, a city located in Aceh Besar district. Because it is located in the mountains, the cold air that accompanies us in traveling both to Banda Aceh and vice versa. This city is visited not only to buy typical souvenirs, but also to perform worship for Muslims.

The place we go to is a mosque with a very interesting building. Located in the center of souvenirs that are visited by many road users. Especially those who travel long distances, this mosque is an alternative to worship and rest with mountain air that provides a sense of comfort for anyone who visits this place.

The first thing you see is the magnificent gate. Although this mosque is in the Saree settlement area, it is the splendor of the gate that fascinates us. Passing through the gate we immediately enter the parking area with pavin blocks installed very neatly.

A dashing mosque whose minarets stand proudly on either side. Which makes this mosque building even stronger. The mosque building with a very beautiful architecture of course and supported by very sturdy poles.

What is very interesting is that to the east of the mosque building there is a durian tree. A tree that is decades old. When I visited on this occasion, the durian had not yet borne fruit. This is one of the icons of this beautiful mosque.

To the left of the mosque is a parking lot dedicated to two-wheeled vehicles. There is even a tall building with sturdy poles as a meeting place. The building is made of wood which provides evidence that there was a forest in this area that produced high quality wood.

The side of the building is the access to the ablutions and bathrooms. The floor is made of beautiful ceramic tiles. This is a path that is widely used by visitors, because there is a bathroom. While the other lane is only specifically as a place of ablution only.

The ablutions and bathrooms are very clean. Both for women and men. The women's is located at the front while the men's is near the back of the mosque. The water is clean and cool, indicating that it comes from the green mountains.

This mosque is an open mosque. With an open concept that provides a sense of comfort for anyone who uses it. For the place of prayer using a carpet with a green color that provides a sense of comfort for those who pray. Like mosques in general, this mosque has a very beautiful pulpit which is in the front area in the place of prayer.

^{Resting place}

For those who want to unwind, there are places to rest on either side of the mosque. Like a gazebo that we can use for free of course. And this is a facility that makes this mosque, crowded by travelers both heading to Banda Aceh and vice versa.
