I just don't see the difference between the two . There are tons of accounts of women accusing Hugh Hefner of sexual assault, none of which made it to the media the way the Weinstein cases did.
In any case, I just don't get why you praise him, I don't see what good he brought into the world.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against pornography or sex work, woman should be able to choose what they want to do with their bodies. But I feel Hefner did not represent the sexual revolution of women, but continued the belief that woman exist to please men.
To quote Hef on the ideal woman, "young, healthy, happy, simple girl—not a 'difficult' one.". I guess "difficult" woman in his eyes are the ones that don't put up with sexual harresment or assults. I want a socity that empowers woman and this just doesn't sound empowring in any way shape or form.
If holding preconceptions & judgements, you’ve automatically blinded yourself from seeing any other perspectives.
That is your belief, not the fact of the situation.
Your guess. Key words locking your perception - not an objective outlook from all angles.
