Why sorry? You actually understood it quite well. I wasn’t only talking about Pakistan. The recent crisis in the Middle East and the politics surrounding it globally are all operating under the same principle:
Substance versus Spectacle, and Narrative versus Truth.
I’m definitely not saying that we (you and I) have politicians or governance that are always fair, truthful, or honest. No, not at all.
But then again, blatant lies, the denial of basic rights, so much injustice (I’m talking about Palestine and Indian side Occupied Kashmir here) —
have people really closed their eyes to all of this?
Has the line between truth and falsehood become so difficult to distinguish?
I think there's only one law in effect now - truth belongs to the one who has the power.
I have a feeling that we are only at the beginning of a period of war and chaos in the world. I would like to be wrong.
So, you weren't writing about the relationship between a snake and a human after all. 😉
Can't be more true. I saw it unfolding this fact in real time. Having said that I would also state that the truth comes out, NO MATTER WHAT!
Now, whether someone wants to admit it or not - That's another story.
