It's meant for inner city use but yea... they really gotta work on that. I mean what if they run out of power on a main street. Will AAA be able to show up with an industril sized power converter to recharge this beast on the go?
I do know and hoped you'd see this post. I was really wondering how it would match and beat the current standard. 15 min refueling time seems reasonable as thats enough time get out of the cab and stretch ur legs for a bit. Maybe with the electric recharge its ok to smoke while standing by recharging. Lol... wait, cant smoke anywhere anymore anyways.
I do remember learning somewhere, probably a movie, that a half tank of diesel won't blow up like a half tank of petrol would.. So I believe diesel won't blow up your ride. Not sure the scientific differences but I agree, diesel is generally safer than gasoline.

As you might know...I have a bit of experience with trucks.
I'm used to over a thousand mile range and fifteen minutes to refuel.

can't set diesel on fire with a cigarette anyway.
I've seen welding sparks fall into diesel and go out.
