War with Satan (Iblees/Shaytaan) 4. Angels Prostrate to Adam except Iblees

And to Allah prostrate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, of the moving (living) creatures and the angels, and they are not proud [i.e. they worship their Lord (Allah) with humility].
(سورة النحل, An-Nahl, Chapter #16, Verse #49)

So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. (سورة الحجر, Al-Hijr, Chapter #15, Verse #30)

So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: (سورة ص, Saad, Chapter #38, Verse #73)

Except iblis (Satan) - he refused to be among the prostrators.

Except iblis (Satan): he was proud and was one of the disbelievers.

And (remember) when We said to the angels: "prostrate yourselves to Adam." They prostrated themselves (all) except Iblis (Satan) he refused. (سورة طه, Taa-Haa, Chapter #20, Verse #116)

And surely, We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a human being); then We told the angels, "prostrate yourselves to Adam", and they prostrated themselves, except Iblis (Satan), he refused to be of those who prostrated themselves.
(سورة الأعراف, Al-A'raaf, Chapter #7, Verse #11)

And (remember) when We said to the angels: "prostrate yourselves before Adam.". And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah). (سورة البقرة, Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #34)
