Incredible India monthly contest of September #1| Basic Education!

Hello steemians, it is a pleasure for me and my amigos to participate actively in this week's contest. Basic education, as we all know, can not be escaped because it is the gateway to becoming someone with high value/reputation in society.

What do you understand by basic education?

Based on my own statistics, I see basic education as the kind of education where individuals are being taught fundamental levels of reasoning, like values, skills, and personal development, self-knowledge acquisition, and social interaction. Basic education is mainly about primary education, which is known to be the first stage of basic education in a child's life. It deals with covering elementary school from ages 5-11.

Apart from getting a primary school education, there is also a need to acquire what I call Early Childhood Education, which has to do with making sure a child learns how to count and read all the digits and letters of the alphabet. This kind of basic education is a combination of kindergarten and pre-nursery school. The main purpose of this education is to enlighten children at their early stage of life.

In all, basic education typically focuses on Literacy, i.e, reading and writing. Basic education should not exist if it doesn't cover this aspect. Another important avenue that must be considered is being able to solve simple mathematics. Basic skills should always teach individuals, both children and adults, how to think 💬 their way through and create solutions to problems.

For me the things that are also necessary in basic education are language, most individuals fail to understand that learning how to speak certain languages in your area is not important, Everyone in the world is supposed to know how to speak English, this is because it is generally considered to be the global language used across the universe. Another thing that is to be considered in basic education is fundamental knowledge on core subjects like chemistry, biology, physics, and environmental science.

Basic education should also include a combination of social studies and effective communication skills. This is all about understanding geography, culture, history as well as civic responsibilities, as individuals and citizens of a state we ought to have value for culture, basic education for this aspect helps in keeping the history of the locality, having a good manner of approach which will help foster peace, love, and team spirit amongst individuals in the society.

While basic education is being taught, they should also be teaching respect and self-respect. This includes showing appreciation, humility, and doing what is expected at the right time.

I certainly believe that basic education has a vital role to play in the lives of humans. Basic education builds us into who we are today. Without a basic education, we can't obtain a tertiary education. This is because it is not possible to jump into that without learning the basics. This is why a child must begin the walking stage first with crawling. Just imagine your child not crawling and just all of a sudden he or she begins to walk. Basic education makes us humans by ensuring that we behave, reason and do things in an orderly manner.

It is from the basic education that engineers have the idea of making the total estimate needed to start off and eventually finish well and accurately, if they didn't know how to handle digits and letters, being able to comprehend simple figures, the process of building would have been the work of those who studied mathematics i.e (statistics).
