Do you believe that life is incomplete without challenges? Explain how?

The day a creature starts understanding the world, their days of struggle and challenges begin from that day itself. And this cycle of struggle and challenges continues throughout life.

"I have faced struggles and challenges which I have mentioned time and again on this platform but my determination and positive thinking gave me the courage to face every challenge. Whenever my morale was down, I tried my best to boost my morale and faced all those challenges and conquered them almost all.

Whenever any big or small challenge comes in front of me, first of all I do not panic or get scared but find its solution with a very cool mind and when there is no way out, then I mention that challenge to my younger and elder people, then someone definitely tells me its solution, by adopting which I overcome that challenge.

I am a marketing professional, so my every task is full of challenges where even a slight mistake can cause a huge loss to the company which means my career can be harmed or it can even end.

At such times, one has to use one's discretion because in such a situation, we face challenges only with our discretion. "

What has been the biggest challenge you have faced? We invite you to share your true stories with us.

A particular Moment of Anger Can Change Your future life. It was during my posting in Kolkata as DGM Marketing (East Zone) during year 1999. I was on my regular trip to Nagaland and while walking back to hotel I met a person in the main market who had just come out of prison after completing his term for murder.

He committed this crime more than 2 decades ago when he was 24 under a momentary rush of blood to his head that according to him, he would have done even in his right mind.

I was walking uphill so lost my control and collided with him, the way he reacted and the anger was written all over his face and body.

He had a sharp tool they call Dao in his hand and the words he used in Nagasmese, "“Never hit a Naga you Deswali." The Nagas used word "Deswali" for people from outside Nagaland and they were especially angry with people from Bengal.

I could have faced him but a few other Nagas came and tried to appease him. I let not my anger control my heart or brain because I knew that moment will pass by, and If I had retaliated or tried to hit him it would never be the same again. I knew my action at that moment would make me regret what I did in that particular moment.

Can you help yourself being in such a state? Perhaps not, but you can at least try. I agree with what he did, a person in grip of anger forgets all about his real self and begins behaving like a beast. In fact, he acted like a savage during the entire duration that he was talking to me under the state of annoyance.

The way this person was talking reflected a lot of nonsense. He was in a particular moment of anger that could become the cause disaster even if I put a lot of effort pacifying him. I know if I had retaliated or hit him in such a case the loss could range from my reputation. But I talked and pacified him and saved the situation.

I am not a person who forgets about his good virtues or he does something that he would not even think in his right frame of mind. A sudden rush of blood to my head could have ruined my reputation in a moment.

The truth is a person is never the same man while in an angry stage and then he easily forgets the difference between good and bad. A man tends to act cruelly and rudely during the period of that angry stage and an angry person is at serious risk of adverse health and mental issues.

There is a famous saying in one of our local languages that if translated will read-

“Anger is like fire only wise can extinguish it but a man that has no control over anger will only burn himself”.

Share some suggestions that can be helpful while going through different life challenges!

Yes, there are moments when you face such challenges but I guess this was the biggest challenge I faced which could as well encourage me to do something dangerous which might change my life for worse. It's a matter of practice and a positive attitude and my capacity to mold and aim for changing my anger towards the positive results.

Same as in Bible

"Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end".

Different versions of Bible say something slightly different, but these all mean the same.

I have had challenges because they are inevitable. We all face challenges at some point in life. Dealing with the insecurities of challenges is emotionally painful but those who can do it are hard to beat.

Challenges can cause sadness, anger, loneliness, resentment, anxiety, stress, fear or even depression. It is difficult to avoid or run away from these feelings. On the other hand, if there are no challenges in life, you will not be able to learn and grow.

Learning to face challenges provides a great opportunity for personal growth and peace of mind. Working from your strengths teaches you to know your strengths and weaknesses. At such times, evaluate how your strengths can help you get out of the situation.

Don't overthink, it will hinder your mind's ability to think clearly and solve problems. Clear the clutter from your mind, so that you can think better and try to find solutions instead of complaining about the situation.

Don't hesitate to ask for help from your family and friends. Be ready to take help when you need it. Talk to someone, sometimes just expressing your thoughts is not enough to make your mind face the challenge.

There is an opportunity in every difficulty. Reflect and try to learn from the mistakes. In the future, try to avoid the mistakes you made in the past.

Don't lose hope because this is just a phase and it will pass. You are not the first or the last person who has faced some challenges in life. Challenges are a part of life.
