Hello steemit friends my take on the ongoing contest

Inner Peace or Outer Joy?

When talking about life, two things are considered peace and happiness but then both comes in different shades inner peace and outer joy. They all sound similar but there's a huge difference but if I have to choose, I would choose inner peace over and again The reason is clear when your mind is calm and settled, you already feel joy inside. Peace gives you a kind of happiness that does not depend on what is happening around you.

Outer joy is about what people can see the smiles, laughter, parties, or success. These things are wonderful, but they don’t last forever. The moment the party ends and people dismiss the joy can disappear too. Inner peace, however stays with you. It is like a firm foundation that holds you steady even when life shakes you.

Can Someone Have Outer Joy Without Inner Peace?

Yes, it is very possible, and in fact, it happens a lot. Most people look happy on the outside but deep down, they are restless, battling with mental issues family problems and others but They laugh so loud in public but cry silently when they are alone. A major example are celebrities , pastors even the closest people like our parents who always put on their best smile celebrities comport to show on the Internet or smile for cameras. Many of them still struggle with depression, loneliness, or even addictions.

This entells that outer joy without inner peace is same as wearing a mask. Everyone sees the bright smile, but only the person behind it knows the truth. That is why I believe inner peace is more valuable. When you have peace, joy naturally flows from it. But if you only chase joy without peace, it never lasts.

Lessons Learned

One thing I’ve come to realize is that joy without peace is weak. Outer joy can disappear in a moment one quarrel, one disappointment, and it is gone. Inner peace, on the other hand, keeps you calm no matter what comes your way.

I’ve also learned that peace doesn’t come from flashy things. peace cannot be bought with money although money brings peace It comes from within through forgiveness, gratitude, contentment, and letting go of heavy burdens.

Another lesson is that joy often needs things to accompany while peace stands on its own. We usually share joy at parties, weddings, or special occasions. But peace is something you can enjoy even when you are all by yourself.

Finally, I’ve seen that peace should come before joy. Both are important, but when peace leads, joy becomes more meaningful. Outer joy may come in seasons, but peace is a lifestyle it is something you carry every single day.

My Final Thoughts

If I must choose, I will always choose inner peace. It makes life lighter, easier, and more meaningful. With peace, you may not have everything you desire, but you will not feel empty either. Outer joy is sweet, but without peace, it quickly fades away.

To me, peace is like a foundation while joy is the brick. The house may look attractive, but without a firm foundation the house cannot stand That is exactly how peace and joy work together. When you find peace first, joy will naturally follow.

So for me, inner peace is not just a preference it is the best choice. Because when your mind is at rest, you will always find joy, and not the kind that fades, but the kind that truly lasts.
