Change they say is constant, it happens every second of human life, change is one thing that is mandatory in life, it must happen. There is change in culture , technology, and lifestyle , it evolve generational, this shape how we live and interact with people and peers.
Most of things that were considered normal have now completely vanished from our daily life .
In this contest entry, I will share my opinion on elements or things that may soon vanish from our lifestyle, how our world has transformed and which changes I consider useful or not.

Elements likely to disappear from our lifestyle
In the next few years , I strongly believe most things will fade away, one of it is cash transaction with the growth of mobile banking, and digital wallet, many people hardly carry cash anymore , a typical example is me I don't even have a 50 naria cash in my house or anywhere, normally I buy things with my mobile app, I buy things and do transfer and many market woman, business man/ woman are adjusting to that and have fully welcome the system. And the future generations may not see cash making it a cashless world.

Another element that is almost gone is handwritten letters, many students now don't even know how to write a letter, I will say that 80% of students don't know how to write letters, is not there fault and you won't blame them because the system is no longer there, we now have many means of communication without stress like with the help of social medias example what'sapp, Facebook, Instagram etc. Years back people wait for letters from Love ones but now instant messages, emails and video calls have completely replaced that practice.

Also CDs, DVDs, and even USB drives are slowly disappearing.Cloud storage and streaming services are very faster and more preferable, is also convenient, making physical storage devices unnecessary.

In agriculture, traditional farming methods are also reducing.Years back many farmers use their hands do cultivating and harvesting, they clear the bush with cutlass and weed the grasses with hoe and also harvest with hoe and cutlass but now we are in modern/ digital world where this things are gradually vanishing, machines, irrigation systems and AI-driven farming are taking over the old manual system of farming.

Has our lifestyle undergone substantial changes?
Yes, our lifestyle has changed significantly compared to two or three decades ago. Technology has played the biggest role in this transformation. Technology has done more good to the society. The expansion of smartphones and social media has changed how we communicate often replacing face-to-face communications.

Education has also changed, with online classes and digital resources replacing the old tradition of only on physical classrooms and textbook. Online classes like Coursera, UniAthena and NOUON are really doing amazing well, you can study online via this platform and get original certificate the same with a person that attended physical classes and the number of students enrolling in this institution are very large in number soon or later youth will be tired of the normal form of learning in classroom.
Medicine and healthcare have improved greatly. Telemedicine, advanced surgeries, and modern vaccines have increased life expectancy. However, one area where change is not always positive is relationships. While virtual connections have increased, many people feel more lonely, and family bonds sometimes appear weaker.

Useful and not-so-useful changes

Some changes are very beneficial to society. For example, medical advancements help people live longer and healthier lives. Digital banking and online services make transactions easier and save time. Similarly, renewable energy technologies like solar panels and electric vehicles are helping protect the environment.

On the other hand, some changes are harmful. The rise of social media addiction has increased stress, depression, and reduced real-life interaction. Processed foods and fast food culture have brought convenience but also created health problems such as obesity and diabetes. Excessive plastic use and e-waste are damaging the environment. Moreover, reduced face-to-face conversations have weakened community values that once made societies stronger.

In conclusion the world will continue to change, and with it, many elements of our lifestyle will vanish while new ones will appear. What matters is how we balance these changes. We must embrace the useful ones like healthcare, renewable energy, and education technology while being cautious about the negative ones, such as unhealthy diets and over-reliance on social media. At the end of the day, the future lifestyle we create will depend on the choices we make today.
I invite my friends @mercybliss, @tempestinyang, @jemilatbuhari, and @ukpono to also join this contest.

CDs, DVD and flash drive are not longer relevant in today's world. The technology has changed everything. You can now access and movie or show online without going through the stress of buying movies in movies shows
I remember when I as much younger, the was a movie I watched in my neighbour house, so I decided to get myself mine. "Wheels on Meals" was the title of the movie. I had to look for it on the whole of the movie shop close to my side but I didn't see. I had to pay my transportation to a far distance where I found the movie.
Secondly, the use of hand to do farmworker is slowly diminishing. Farmers now use farmer machineries to do farm work.
