I strongly hold this view and trust me not only do they long for our presence, they ache for it, sometimes in silence and you can only notice this if you pay attention to their body language especially our mothers because most of the time our fathers play strong. This is rooted as children, we grow up, relocate and build new lives but to our parents, we are always the same babies they once held close. Their hearts remain tied to us and should what the heart holds tight to herself become detached, such heart will get broken. Hence, loneliness.

As our parents get old they start becoming and behaving like children, it is like a role reversal. So remember, as a child how much we needed our parents around us and exactly that's what our parents need when they get old, they need their children around them.

আমাদের উচিত এই বৃদ্ধ বয়সে বাবা-মাকে সঙ্গ দেওয়া ,তাদের ভালো মন্দের বিষয়টি আমাদের খোঁজখবর নেওয়া উচিত । তাদের দামি দামি পোশাক, অলংকার প্রয়োজন হয় না, তাদের কাছে সবথেকে দামি হলো তাদের সন্তান। সে সন্তানকে তারা কাছে পেতে চায় । বৃদ্ধ বয়সে বাবা-মা সন্তানের মত হয়ে যায় তাই সন্তান হিসেবে আমাদের উচিত বাবা-মাকেও সন্তানের মত ভালবাসা।
