My response to the @MeraIndia contest of August - My own Story

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I believe that life will never be called life without challenges in it. Challenges is the second name of life, else there is no meaning to Life. Because that's what we learn from and grow in life. Our spiritual evolution happens only through these challenges.

Do I believe life is incomplete without challenges?
Yes, I do believe, because challenges allow us to experience all our senses. When I say senses it is not about the 5 physical senses. It is about how we use our mind, how we are guided by our heart, how does our intuition drive us to make decision and face challenges. If all these senses are not optimized then what's the meaning of this birth, nothing at all. We experience life in totality by making use of all our senses. By experiencing the polarities of life. There are positive and negative events happening in life and unless we do not experience the challenging part of life, we will never appreciate the good part of life.

My significant challenge of life
I have had many of them, right from my childhood, growing up without parents, not getting good level of education, dealing with abusive people, toxic work environment, It has been quite a lot. But the main one has been dealing with relationships. There have been some relationships in my life that has been toughest to deal with. First it was my father, but he passed away too early in my life and because of that the experience was short. The second was my mother in law, she was a very nice lady but probably we lacked understanding towards each other. I was also immature then and it was extremely challenging to deal with her. We lived in the same home, financially me and hubby were not that stable to have a house of our own.

Over a period of time, I learned to be silent with her. That was the only way I felt possible to live with her. Living with her changed my life in many ways, when I look back on that time of life I feel she was a tough task master for me who had come in to my life to give me spiritual growth. Because with all the challenges that I kept facing with her, I turned more and more towards spirituality. If not for her, I would have never been so aware and mindful about my life.

With her I learned to be the best version of myself, what I am today.

Challenges are always meant to teach us some lesson in life, be it a person or a situation, if it's challenging means it's trying to show you a different path in life, which is a better one, which will lead to you being a better person in some or the other way. Some times they are guiding us to look into a different direction which is more suited for us.

Challenges are not meant to fail us, they are meant to succeed us in life. They are the obstacles that we have to overcome. They are like the jigsaw puzzle, when fixed all parts come together and makes sense.
