We all love to travel. Traveling improves both the mind and body. If you are very depressed, if you are not focused on anything, if you can go for a walk in nature, your mind will feel better. We run hundreds of miles to enjoy the beautiful beauty of nature. Today I have brought you such a travel story. I have been wanting to travel for a long time, but I haven't been able to travel anywhere because I'm not in a good mental state. Suddenly, I joined a job again, and everything has become even more chaotic. However, now that I live in Dhaka, I can easily travel to different places in Dhaka. However, the main thing is to find time to travel.

A few days ago, my elder brother's daughter came to Dhaka from her in-laws' house to travel. Before she arrived, we planned that she would actually travel to some places. Among them, the National Memorial is one place. She came at the end of last month. Then we decided that we would travel on the day when I have a day off from work. My office holidays are Saturdays and Sundays. If I want to travel, I have to travel on these two days. I won't be able to go on other days. It was decided that we would travel on the 2nd Saturday, my office is closed that day. But the problem is that it has been raining heavily for more than two months in one place. It is difficult to say when the rain will fall. Then, when the desire comes, we have to go.

On Saturday, the 2nd, at around 3 pm, we all got ready and went out to see the National Memorial. We live in Savar, Dhaka. And the memorial is located in Nabinagar, Dhaka. It takes about an hour to get there by bus from our house. We left our house and took an auto to the main road. Then we boarded a bus to go to Nabinagar. They dropped us off quite a bit before the main gate of the Nabinagar Memorial. We walked a long way to the main gate. From where we have to enter. The interesting thing is that no ticket is required to enter here. Due to which the number of people coming to see it is also very high. We entered inside. Then we walked forward towards the memorial. Inside, some people were selling nuts, some were begging, some were selling flowers and some were earning money by taking pictures with cameras.

This national memorial was not built to commemorate the spirit of the Liberation War and the martyrs. It is connected with the history, culture and tradition of Bangladesh. We were moving forward and taking pictures. There were five of us, young and old. I was taking pictures of my brother's daughter and sons. Later, I took some pictures of myself with my daughter. By the grace of God, the sky was clear. We went around in all directions and saw the helicopter. Basically, when the Prime Minister brings a helicopter for a national event, it is landed here. Inside, there are all the trees, the name of the tree, the name of the tree, and various kinds of information about the Gobong tree are written next to each tree. We wandered around inside for more than an hour. Then, I saw that the sky was cloudy and it was raining a few times. That's why we quickly went outside.

After coming out, we all had lemon sorbet. Then we crossed the footover bridge to go home. When we got off the bridge, it started raining. We stood for some time and then came to the road and started waiting for the bus. We were waiting for the bus where we were standing, but the bus to Savar was not available. I did not know this. While we were standing on the road, it started raining again. We had two umbrellas with us, but due to the heavy rain, we all got almost wet. Then we got into an auto and came to the intersection. Then from there we got into the bus with our wet bodies. There was no peace even after walking around due to the rain.

We came home towards evening, completely soaked. Actually, I did not understand that we would have to face such a situation while walking around. Although it was not raining all the time while we were walking around inside. After coming outside, I got soaked in the rain. Actually, it has been raining like this for more than two months. There is nothing to do, we have to obey the rules of God. Even though it was raining, my mind felt better after walking around a little.

This is the second time I saw the memorial. Earlier, when I first came to Dhaka in 2019, I went for a walk with my cousin. And in 2025, I went for a walk again. Anyway, I shared some moments of the trip with you. I hope you all like it. Stay well and healthy. See you again with a new post.
