Hello, amazing people of the Incredible India community. How are you? I hope you are fine. The 1st July contest announced by "sduttaskitchen" didi. This time it is about Advanced Technology. Here is my perspective on the matter.
Do you believe advanced technologies open the door to advanced crimes? Your viewpoint.
Yes, I deeply believe that advanced technologies open the door to advanced crimes. Let's focus on the previous magnificent invention in the history of mankind.
Formaldehyde, a kind of preservative invented for urea-formaldehyde, phenol-formaldehyde, and melamine-formaldehyde resins. It has a major impact on the medical and various industries. I am not diving into the deep; that is unnecessary. But why is this now used for? Preserve foods which has a bad impact on human bodies.
Chloroform, another great chemical invention for medical purposes. Make the patient unconscious before a surgical operation so that the patient doesn't feel the pain. But, haha, chloroform is the main tool of robbery.
There are so many inventions like this that cause a big chaos due to bad use. I heard about the dark web, where someone gives an order to kill someone. Which are not traceable. Can you imagine how dangerous that is? Bandit is now using TikTok Video or Facebook Reels as information on how the house is decorated. Scammers are sending phishing messages to rug people. Ubar or Phatao is used as a target for kidnapping. Things are getting worse with advanced inventions.
Do you believe we must need an antidote before launching any technology?
No doubt about that. I thought it was essential to launch a new technology. Human is the user of any kind of technology. Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, we all can turn into an evil or an angel. If we were turned into an angel, there would be no problem. What if we turned into evil? Organizations that are making and inventing new technologies should prioritize that and must create an antidote first.
Share some tips through which we can alert old family members and society's view of cybercrime.
There is no alternative to making the elderly members of the family aware of this. As is seen in the case of cybercrime, some fall into the trap without realizing it. Some fall into the trap knowingly due to excessive greed. For this reason, everyone must be repeatedly warned, made aware, and prevented from falling into any tempting online traps under any circumstances.
