Introduction

Good day dear friends, how are you all doing here in steemit? Hope all your posts has quality and I hope you people are voting other's posts daily? I will be sharing my entry on the this contest by @meraindia, I hope to win this time.

What is the name of your town, and when did you capture those pictures? Describe.

The name of my town is obio/akpor in Portharcourt, is a very big town that contains lots of communities like,

• Rukpokwu
• Rumuola
• Rumuokoro
• Rumuodumaya
• Rumuokruta
• Rumuokrushi
• Rumuosi
• Rumuoprikun and so many others.

I currently live in Rukpokwu and so many of the pictures I will be talking about today were taken in Rukpokwu.

Hydropet filing station

The closest filing station in the place I live is Hydropet filing station, the filing station is a very busy one and it's staff are friendly, punctual and we'll mannered.

I enjoy buying fuel in this filing station because is very neat and attractive, I love the colors they used in painting it. This filing station is found in Aluu Road, Rukpokwu.

Finger touch barbing salon

This particular barbing salon is based inside pipeline market in Elikpokwuodu, Rukpokwu, this is the salon my friend @saintkelvin17 normally sharpen their clipper blades.

The last time my friend went to sharp their blade, I followed him because I following the same direction to see my aunty, I didn't stay with him in the salon because I was rushing to my aunty house, I just took a picture of the place. This place is found in Elikpokwuodu Rukpokwu.

Mountain of fire and miracles ministries

This church is almost close to Hydropet filing station, the church is a very small one but is still developing anyway. I took a picture of it when I was inside Keke and am glad the picture is quite clear. The church is nice. The church is located at Aluu Road, Rukpokwu.

Callus Miller

Callus Miller is a place where phones and phones accessories are sold, this is where most of my friends buy their phones. The reason I love this place is because they sell quality phones and phones accessories there, their goods are original.

I took this picture with my friends @saintkelvin17 and @smartlouis, Louis went to buy a phone there yesterday. The place is located at Rumuodumaya.

Calvary arena

This is where we normally hang the persons acting as Jesus Christ and thieves every Good Friday each year in my community.

I and Kelvin took this picture this month on Good Friday. This place is located in Elikpokwuodu, Rukpokwu.

NNPC filing station

The NNPC filing station was formerly known as oando filing station maybe the filing was sold to someone. I love this filing station because is my second alternative whenever Hydropet filing station doesn't have fuel.

I took this picture on my way to pleasure park last year. The place is located at Market junction, Rukpokwu.

Market square

This plaza is a very big one, is nice and cool to be in, there's air condition in it and it has lots of goodies to be purchased in it.

I took this picture yesterday when Louis went to buy his phone, the place is by the side of Callus Miller. The place is located in Rumuodumaya.

Brainstorm montessori school

I can't share pictures of my town without sharing a picture of a school. This is the newest school in my area that opened last year September. The school is new and has quality teachers that's why I love it.

I took this picture The previous time I went to buy fuel. The school is found opposite Hydropet filing station in Aluu Road Rukpokwu.

Chicken Republic

This place is very good too eat nice chicken, they don't just sell chicken but rice, drinks and snacks as well.

I took this picture yesterday on my to Callus Miller with my friends. This place is found in White House, Rukpokwu.

Kiligrill

This is where shawarma, grilled foods and so many others are sold. I love their products because they are always fresh.

I took this picture yesterday as I went with my friends who went to buy phone on Callus Miller. This place is beside Callus Miller and market square in Rumuodumaya.

The Callus Miller photo is an anecdote I will talk about. We ran out of cash so Kelvin had to call Louis's boss to send 1000 naira to the person selling the phone and it took long before we became completely saved. Glad Louis bought the phone.
