Woke up tonight under my warm blanket. The sound of rain seemed to wake me up from sleep, from outside the bedroom window. It was cold when I tried to open my blanket a little, and I wanted to close my eyes again and dream again.

But I don't know what was wriggling in my mind that made it difficult for me to close my eyes again. It crossed my mind of the people out there who are now probably cold sleeping on the terraces of the city shops. Maybe there are also some of them who haven't slept because their stomachs are rumbling and they haven't eaten all day.

It really touches my heart to imagine them, and I don't know what fate the grandfather will have tonight. The grandfather I met at the crossroads carrying children's toys to sell. With his unsteady walking, even though he already has a stick as a replacement for his old eyes that are starting to become dim. The grandfather continues to struggle to make ends meet.

I took a deep breath while in my heart I hope that the grandfather will always be given protection and safety. I grabbed my cellphone on the table next to my bed, I saw the clock showing 02.30 WIB. I hurriedly pulled the blanket that was still attached to my body, I fought the cold air tonight. I took some ablution water to purify my body again. I rolled out the prayer mat that I took from the corner of my room hanger, and now I pray to YOU. In my prostration "God help me to remember YOU, prostrate and worship YOU well. Bless my every step and brighten my days. Guard and protect my loved ones, people who are always on YOUR path".

I saw light entering my room through the small gaps above the window, unknowingly now it was morning, a fairly bright morning with beautiful sunlight after last night's clouds rained down heavily. And I who had slept on the prayer mat last night suddenly woke up, preparing myself to go to work this morning. Previously I warmed up the engine of my old Vespa hoping it wouldn't break down on the way later.

The traffic of vehicles began to fill the road activities this morning. I, who was riding a Vespa, slightly stepped on the gas after seeing a little crowd in front.

Curious to know, I immediately got off my Vespa and asked the men in the crowd. "Excuse me sir, what's going on, why are there so many people?".
"Here, sir, someone died," the man replied.
"Why did he die, sir?"
"I don't really know why, maybe he had a heart attack." The man answered carelessly.
My curiosity grew, so I finally squeezed in to see him in person. "Innalillahi wa innailahi rojiiun." I said to myself. I never thought that the grandfather who had been in my daydream last night would die right in front of the shop next to the intersection. With his hands still holding children's toys, the grandfather lay stiff. Maybe the rain made him unable to go home and decided to take shelter until death came to him.
