Incredible India monthly contest of October #1| Ego vs Self-confidence!
Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to write for this contest that is running by @meraindia, here is the link if you are also interested:
Ego sounds not positive but it is one of the driving force for the personality, to reach certain goals in our life. Often it does not goes alone but with combination some other character features. I think when we are children we are grown with certain principles that we should follow and also we are told that we have to be respectful about others and think as a community member for the sake of the best for the community and not to think about own privileges only. Despite of that we often realise that our ego can bring us further forward and often make us to reach what we wish.
Self-confidence is another important feature of our character and also plays a great role in our place in community. We often notice that since childhood we are a part of group in nursery, school and later in University. We have our leaders such as speakers or representatives and for these roles we have to be self-confident but also we have to have knowledge. Often there are cases when some people like President Trump has self-confident but now knowledge and we see where it leads the people, community and country.
When a person goes to his or her goal without paying attention to the opinion of others, or doing something even if that damages of others only because that is important for the person that is definitely ego. When a person takes even hard tasks and risks for the sake of higher goal because he knows how to do it and also aware about the good and bad sides of it but people will benefit from end results then for me it is self-confidence.
In every situation it is important to come individually. People with big egos often will be alone because they do have only their goal in front of their eyes and usually they do not need anyone those people will only slow them down and also they often will be used but not appreciated. In my opinion I would suggest that self-confidence is something that we need to develop in ourselves and that will help us to be a useful member of community and often to represent and lead it.

El ego nos aleja de las personas y no permite que tengamos éxito en los diversos escenarios donde nos desempeñamos en nuestro día a día. En lo personal, no conozco a ninguna persona exitosa que haya tenido ego y, todo esto me ha enseñado que, mientras evitemos que esa actitud domine en nosotros, no tendremos problemas.
