Agreed. Everyone is due a mistake or two...lol...
you should let him know. and be ready to calmly but forcefully explain why it is a mistake to believe this, because he is also setting himself and his flock up to fall for the false saviour. bible clearly states we will suffer the greatest persecution in history, and that only Jesus will defeat this iron kingdom. people need to be ready, as i know you are brother.
