My new proposal is this, with the extra funds we have left over, I would like to get a camera bag, spare battery and some spare sd cards, wait a minute though I am NOT finished there!
Due to the generosity of fellow citizen STEEMIANS from all over the world, I am proposing the below.
A steemit themed STREET PARTY in Damascus Syria.
If everyone is okay with this, I would like to send my earnings off here, and what ever comes in from the two posts still running here & here and give the locals near Tom in Damascus a street party to remember.
The only way to do this would be with (again) the help of someone that can cash sbd (unlike me) possibly if he would be so kind again @jimbobbill, we would have to send it via western union direct to Tom - we can show receipts no problem.
Tom will put up steemit signs in the street and video it for us all also.
What says you?
We can shine a light so bright from steemit we can throw a party of hope for Damascus, even if just for 1 day, we can make these people forget the war, and give them real hope, we can also show that we care, that the world cares, that we know their fight and we want to help. Even if they only party for 1 day, we can make that day happen.
I hope this idea meets approval from all those that have donated time and votes/sbd directly.
