RE: Happy International Women Day and Recognizing Two of Steemit gems @canadian-coconut and @beanz

Hey, Daudi. I really love your last part. We must promote the respect to all womans, more in our caribbean environment that crearly our culture are most "macho" than feminist in a term of respect. And It has been changing in these last century because there are more people and laws that are more stricters to protect them and the societies are getting more involved in that.

We are humanist. And as humanist we believe in equiality for all. Feminism is humanism for women, so there's no excuse to treat them like they are not human and powerful. I've been raised by wonderful women and it's the first thing I learned from there, to respect.

Sort:

In the Caribbean family structure, many women play the role of both the Father and Mother, I give it to the women who go beyond their limits especially when its not their biological children....
Nothing to love and respect from me...
