im about to be in the same boat in like 2-3 months. living on the road but my phone is crap and i cant post on steemit with it and only have a desktop so i might end up just afk for a month or 2.
The idea of free wifi now days is so awesome. IDK about logging into steemit at a libary but it is a free computer with internet access so that might be another option too.

can you just use the posting password so at worse someone could maybe post but not touch the wallet?
If there is even a small chance of getting my shit stolen i will prolly just be afk for a month or 2, not worth the risk im starting to think or maybe worth it to upgrade my phone.
yeah if i was to log in on someone elses computer i would be sure only to use the posting key, i have it on a seprate thumb drive already so my normal main key doesnt even touch whoevers computer i might use.

If you do log into steemit at a library remember to log out and erase the data. Better use just the key you need to login too.

The posting key is actually what I meant when I said the key you need to login, just the least important password.
