Not really sure how i stumbled upon this article, but personally I feel the internet has made the world smaller (Social Media) allowed us to meet others although it's behind a screen. Although I do also believe the internet makes it hard for us to communicate with each other because of all the distractions that come with it as well. I'm only 22 and i feel out of place most of the time because people my age would rather be on their phone texting on messaging each other through social media than hold a conversation in person on over the phone. It's kind of sad watching my generation do this to themselves :/
