Im originally from northern Sweden but Im living in southern Alberta, Canada now. Me and my husband also have the goal of a homestead, currently living on a acerage that we are renting - learning all that we can to be selfsustaining. But Alaska is a fair bit colder ;)

I just became a permanent resident here in Canada so I will do some bow hunting (and rifle) with my husband this year, I´m so looking forward to it. Growing up in the northern sweden my entire family hunts (my mom hunts bear) so I have my hunting licence there, but bow hunting is new to me
