Self-Introduction
I am a doctor. And this is not just a job, it is a part of life. Every day I see people with different problems and worries. And every time I realize: medicine does not stand still. Here you cannot just study once and relax, you need to constantly learn, grow, and search for new things. The deeper you go, the clearer it becomes: knowledge is never enough. That’s why I study. I read research, watch lectures, attend conferences. Because knowledge is a tool that allows you to help others and not get lost yourself.
A medical diploma is only the start. Many people think: you finish university, get the paper — and that’s it, you can work calmly. But it doesn’t work that way. Medicine changes very quickly. What was considered normal ten years ago may be a mistake today. Methods of treating hypertension or diabetes have been revised more than once, new drugs appeared, old regimens disappeared. In surgery, new technologies, instruments, and approaches keep emerging. If a doctor does not develop, they become dangerous for the patient. That is why studying and self-development are not hobbies or trendy fashion, but essential requirements.
I want to share what I learn. Not only with colleagues but also with ordinary people. The more a person knows about their health, the fewer chances they have of missing something serious. Many endure high blood pressure for years until a stroke happens. Abdominal pain gets blamed on food until it turns out to be appendicitis. All of this could be prevented if the person realized in time that they needed to see a doctor.
I am going to run a blog. There I will write simply and to the point. Not in dry medical language, but in a way that is clear to everyone. I want to talk about diseases, symptoms, about when to sound the alarm and when not to panic. I will explain which treatments really work and which are myths. And most importantly — why prevention is always better than treatment.
I see this blog not as a place for formal articles, but as a living dialogue. It matters to me that people ask questions, argue, share their experiences. I want to understand what concerns others and look for answers together because medicine it’s about all of us.
Welcome to Steem ;-)) Here you will find a number of practicing doctors, and the topic of health is very important in many Communities and blogs. I wish you to have a good time, fruitful exchanges, and perhaps even new insights...
Thank you. Over time, I will decide where it’s better to write and will find my niche.
