A Humble Introduction: Excited to Be Here

Hello Steemit family,

My name is Jamal Moredi ( a pseudonym of course) and I’m writing this with so much excitement and a little nervousness as I take my first step into this amazing community.

I come from Ghana, in the West of Africa and like many people here, I’m passionate about writing and storytelling.
To be honest, I’m not a “big writer” yet though I’m still learning and trying to find my voice. But until then I believe every story matters, even the small ones like mine.

🌍 The Real Situation

Life hasn’t always been easy. I’ve had my share of challenges, disappointments and failures, however these have come to form part of what inspires me to write. Sometimes writing feels like my way of breathing through difficult moments and connecting with others who might understand.

I’m not here to brag or claim I know everything, neither am I here for pitying. I am here to learn, share, and grow with you all on this amazing journey.

Why I Joined Steemit 😇

I am here because I want to be part of a community that values, creativity, encourages free speech and also makes the voice of persons who ordinarily might not have had the chance to communicate on such a huge platform. And from what I’ve seen so far, Steemit is exactly that. I am grateful.
