Welcome! Steemit is where you want to be - you can meet lots of interesting people here without the trouble of actually going out to meet them. I took up concert going only when my children were old enough to enjoy the experience and it's something I totally recommend - by all means go see The Foo Fighters. Haven't seen them myself, but maybe someday... I guess it might be difficult to stand in a crowd, but once you get into the atmosphere, you can ignore the rest of the people - it would be just you and Dave Grohl...

They were actually near me last week, but I was unable to attend. The last concert I went to was in 1992 and that is a very funny story as it was a Black Crowes concert. I will write about that soon, I just have to figure out how to word it! Thanks for the warm welcome!
