This is the million dollar question!
The way I assess the situation for myself (and this is by no means investment advice) is to look at the current marketcap.
At the moment STEEM's marketcap is around $20m. Could it be $200m in two years time? It's not inconceivable. A couple things I bear would bear in mind is:-
- if I was planning to 'cash out' in 2 years time or at a certain price, I'd need Steem to hold tgat good price for 2 further years to realise the full benefit.
- I can increase my return substantially by taking a few minutes a day to curate/ vote and/ or write some quality posts occasionally. I lose nothing, but a bit of time. I'm also keeping myself appraised of the success or otherwise of my investment.
Just some thoughts...
