This ground wasp is scientifically called Vespa affinis, also known as the ndas wasp or endas wasp in Indonesia.

The egg-laying period for the ndas wasp is usually during the rainy season, but they prefer to attack during the dry season.

This wasp will usually lay eggs in holes in the ground or tree gaps.
If you find a wasp nest around your house, it's best not to disturb it.
