My Pentris Gameplay Experience on Steem-Retrogames
My Pentris Gameplay Experience on Steem-Retrogames
By @anthony002
Introduction
Hello Steemit friends!
Today, I continued my fun journey with Steem-Retrogames, and this time I played Pentris. This game is a classic puzzle-style retro game where you stack falling blocks to complete lines. It’s simple at first, but as the blocks fall faster, it becomes a true test of reflexes, focus, and strategy.
I’ve played SteemPong before, but this was my first proper Pentris session, and it turned out to be both fun and challenging.
My Gameplay Results
🔹 First Round
- Score: 546
- Verdict: Game Over
🔹 Second Round
- Score: 783 (🔥 My All-Time Highest Score!)
- Verdict: Game Over
My Thoughts on Pentris
What I really liked about Pentris is how it feels both nostalgic and modern at the same time. It brings back memories of old-school handheld Tetris-style games, but now it’s available directly on the Steem blockchain. No downloads, no hassle — just pure retro fun in the browser.
Playing Pentris today reminded me how these puzzle games can be so addictive. In the first round, I was still warming up and made some early mistakes. But by the second round, I was more focused and managed to achieve my all-time highest score: 783 points. That improvement felt really rewarding!
It’s also the kind of game where you always want to try “just one more round.” Every time you lose, you feel like you can do better — and that’s exactly what happened to me today.
Final Thoughts
Pentris is a fun and engaging game that I’ll definitely be playing again. It’s not just entertainment, but also a challenge to improve my reflexes and strategy. The fact that it’s connected to Steem makes it even more exciting because it brings gaming and blockchain together in a unique way.
