Solar Maximum | Cycle 25

Today we come bearing good news and bad: A powerful and alarming tale — A documentary report on the continuing Solar Maximum, a natural but dangerous portion in the sun's life cycle, has serious Earth effects.
Right now, we are experiencing the Solar Maximum; a part of an eleven year solar cycle. The origin of this cycle came in 2019 december this is expected to cycle until 2025. This period is marked by high activity of the sun, blasting outward into space huge amounts of energy in the form of solar flares and solar storms. They can have a major effect on Earth’s environment and technology.
Across the globe recently we have seen shocking weather patterns. Many areas report strong winds blowing over 130 kilometers per hour, massive hailstorm and intense lightning, must strange hail as 10cm, as heavy rainfall. It’s not a coincidence, says experts: the solar activity occurring right now is directly linked to this.
We're being shellacked by dangerous waves of energy released by solar flares from the sun. These waves effect the Earth's magnetic field, interfering with radio signals, GPS systems, satellite communication and even the power grids. Take for example Pakistan the same as many other countries have faced discontinue in delivering phone network and air traffic control system. Nationwide, signals are being affected both radio and otherwise.
Earlier this year, there was one such incident, on a passenger flight from Karachi to Lahore. The plane got caught in a powerful storm stirred up by solar disturbance as it approached to landing. With great courage and skill, the pilot turned the plane around and landed safe in Karachi. This near tragedy demonstrates how very real these effects can be.
Residents of Islamabad were shocked earlier this week with a massive hailstorm in the capital. It broke house windows, uprooted trees and damaged hundreds of cars, large balls of ice. 'We have never seen hail come down so large and so heavily before,' locals said. According to scientists, the extreme weather is a result of peak solar activity.
The Solar Cycle 25 forecast, produced by the Solar Cycle 25 Prediction Panel, which is co-chaired by NASA and NOAA. Sunspot number is an indicator of solar cycle strength: the higher the sunspot number, the stronger the cycle. The panel predicts that Solar Cycle 25 will be average in intensity and similar to Cycle 24. Solar Cycle 25 is expected to peak in July 2025.

The current solar cycle — Solar Cycle 25 — is more intense than forecasted, NASA said. Solar energy intensity is now surpassing earlier predictions making this so far one of the most dangerous cycles. Solar activity is expected to peak in 2025, say scientists. Then it will gradually decrease, by 2030 we’ll be in a phase called Solar Minimum and the sun will have become quieter.
We must keep our eyes open and ready until then. Of course, we can’t control the sun, but we can minimize the damage by staying informed, wrapping our technology in protective covering … and listening to scientific wisdom.
