Leggevo da qualche parte che le medidas nuove del governo statunitense nei confronti anche dei cubani sarebbero difficili da applicare in quanto la vastita' del paese consentirebbe una serena vita in clandestinita'.
Intanto il paese e' vasto e' vero ma diviso in 50 stati autonomi in tutto, meno che nella politica estera.
Quindi ogni stato e' pieno di polizia, ogni contea ha i suoi sceriffi e sopra tutti loro c'e' l'Fbi.

Veniamo al fatto in questione.
Un cubano (foto) in una spiaggia adiacente a Miami si stava bevendo la sua birretta in grazia di Dio, da solo e senza dare fastidio a nessuno.
Il problema e' che in vaste zone della Florida e' proibito consumare alcoolici all'aperto.
Passano un paio di agenti, vedono il tipo che tracanna la birretta e gli fanno alcune domande che sono state incluse nella dichiarazione giurata del caso, insieme alle risposte.

"Quando sei entrato nel paese?" - Gennaio 2023
"Come sei entrato nel paese?" - In aereo
"Dove sei entrato nel paese?" - Florida
"In quali altri stati sei stato prima dlela Florida?" - Nessuno

Il tipo si chiama Martinez Sanchez, cubano de pura cepa.
A quel punto della discussione gli agenti hanno supposto che il cubano, con la sua birretta, si trovasse nel paese illegalmente, il tutto ha portato a una notifica all'ICE e al successivo arresto.
Il tipo, secondo le nuove normative, si trovava nel paese illegalmente, e' stato arrestato ed ora verra' deportato non si sa se a Cuba o nel Salvador, dipende se ha compiuto altri reati negli Stati Uniti.

Ho detto altri reati perche' gia' il soggiornare nel paese dopo le nuove medidas senza averne i titoli e' di per se un reato.
Quindi se qualcuno pensa che quelle medidas non siano operative si sbaglia di grosso, negli Stati Uniti (piu' che da noi...) anche solo se prendi una multa il tutto viene schedato e catalogato, se il tipo che ha preso la multa e' nel 'paese illegalmente lo vanno a pinzare.

I read somewhere that the new measures of the US government also towards Cubans would be difficult to apply because the vastness of the country would allow a peaceful life in hiding.
Meanwhile, the country is vast, it's true, but divided into 50 autonomous states in all, except in foreign policy.
So each state is full of police, each county has its sheriffs and above them all is the FBI.

Let's get to the fact in question.
A Cuban (photo) on a beach near Miami was drinking his beer for the grace of God, alone and without bothering anyone.
The problem is that in large areas of Florida it is forbidden to consume alcohol outdoors.
A couple of agents pass by, see the guy chugging the beer and ask him some questions that were included in the sworn statement of the case, along with the answers.

"When did you enter the country?" - January 2023
"How did you enter the country?" - By plane
"Where did you enter the country?" - Florida
"What other states have you been to before Florida?" - None

The guy's name is Martinez Sanchez, a Cuban de pura cepa.
At that point in the discussion the agents assumed that the Cuban, with his beer, was in the country illegally, all of which led to a notification to ICE and the subsequent arrest.
The guy, according to the new regulations, was in the country illegally, he was arrested and now he will be deported, it is not known if to Cuba or El Salvador, it depends on whether he has committed other crimes in the United States.

I said other crimes because staying in the country after the new medidas without having the qualifications is already a crime in itself.
So if someone thinks that those medidas are not operational they are very wrong, in the United States (more than here...) even if you get a fine everything is filed and catalogued, if the guy who got the fine is in the country illegally they go and pinch him.
