Amici che sono rimasti a casa dalle mie parti (Valgioie, Giaveno, Coazze...) che fanno vacanze in altri periodi mi hanno detto che i paesi traboccavano di gente e che le vie dove si fanno camminate in montagna non si sono mai viste cosi' piene.
Siamo ad un tiro di schioppo da Torino, piu' in basso ci sono i 2 laghi di Avigliana, quello grande e' tornato da un paio d'anni balneabile, ci sono canoe, surf, sup e vele che navigano in quello specchio d'acqua.

C'e' il fiume Sangone (il Sangon Blues di Gipo Farassino) che in alcune zone e' circondato da ampie pietre (lose) dove ci si puo' sdraiare a prendere il sole.
E' pieno di luoghi dove grigliare all'aperto ed in piu', anche se meno di un tempo, il luogo e' meta delle seconde case dei torinesi.
Quest'estate dove i soldi sono pochi, la vita e' cara e tanti sono rimasti a casa posti come questi sono diventati popolarissimi, poco piu' di mezzora in macchina da Torino e ci sei.

Prendi il sole, fai il bagno, in luoghi attrezzati come i laghi puoi mangiare, sei in mezzo alla natura e spendi poco.
Per chi vuole fare camminate serie c'e' l'Aquila oppure Colle Braida da cui puoi partire per ore ed ore di escursioni bellissime.
In questa estate dove i balneari chiedono anche 60/70 euro per 2 cazzo di lettini per un ombrellone in 15esima fila la gente si e' fatta furba e ha iniziato a sfruttare le bellezze del Piemonte dove, come dicevano gli Statuto, "non c'e' il mare" ma se vuoi passare belle giornate hai solo l'imbarazzo della scelta.

La gente inizia a farsi furba, finalmente.

Friends who stayed home in my area (Valgioie, Giaveno, Coazze...) and who go on vacation at other times told me that the villages were overflowing with people and that the mountain hiking trails had never been so crowded.
We're a stone's throw from Turin, and further down are the two lakes of Avigliana. The large one has been open for swimming again for a couple of years. There are canoes, surfboards, stand-up paddleboards, and sailboats navigating that body of water.

There's the Sangone River (Gipo Farassino's Sangon Blues), which in some areas is surrounded by large rocks (lose) where you can lie down and sunbathe.
It's full of places to grill outdoors, and, although less than before, the area is a popular destination for Turin residents' second homes.
This summer, where money is tight, life is expensive, and many have stayed home, places like these have become incredibly popular. Just over a half-hour drive from Turin and you're there.

Sunbathe, swim, and eat in well-equipped places like the lakes. You're surrounded by nature and spend little.
For those who want serious hiking, there's L'Aquila or Colle Braida, from which you can set off on hours and hours of beautiful excursions.
In this summer, where beach resorts charge up to €60-€70 for two damn sun loungers, or even an umbrella in the 15th row, people have gotten smart and started taking advantage of the beauty of Piedmont, where, as the Statute says, "there's no sea," but if you want to spend a beautiful day, you're spoiled for choice.

People are finally starting to get smart.
