Ho potuto seguire la finale del Roland Garros a spizzichi e bocconi, ero in piena serata e fra un microfono e un mixer, sul telefonino, seguivo l'evolversi del punteggio.
Come ha detto Panatta, sul 6-6 del quinto set si sarebbe dovuto interrompere l'incontro ed assegnare due premi ad Alcaraz e Sinner tanto era stata epica la battaglia sul campo.
Ma lo sport non funziona in questo modo e certe pagliacciate le lasciamo fare a Tamberi.

Sinner e' piu' potente, Alcaraz ha piu' talento, dopo 5 ore di gioco la potenza puo' venire meno ma il talento resta.
Alla fine Sinner ha fatto un punto in piu dello spagnolo, ha avuto 3 match
point nel quarto set, ma il Dio del tennis quella sera aveva deciso diversamente.
Al di la' del ranking oggi Alcaraz ha qualcosa di piu' sulla terra, come da tradizione iberica, mentre Sinner e' piu' forte sul veloce, sull'erba vedremo ma io opto per l'italiano.

Il pubblico francese era tutto per Alcaraz, piu' personaggio, piu' paraculo, piu' latino del nostro che, che come Gustavo Thoeni, e' un italiano di frontiera.
Non puo' non piacere questo ragazzo, la sua semplicita', ad oggi, non intaccata dal successo; "Siamo una famiglia normale, oggi mio padre non c'era perche' doveva lavorare...".
Forse un ragazzo cosi' questo paese allo sbando non se lo merita.

SINNER/ALCARAZ
I was able to follow the Roland Garros final in bits and pieces, it was the middle of the evening and between a microphone and a mixer, on my cell phone, I followed the evolution of the score.
As Panatta said, at 6-6 in the fifth set the match should have been interrupted and two prizes awarded to Alcaraz and Sinner, so epic had the battle on the court been.
But sport doesn't work that way and we leave certain antics to Tamberi.

Sinner is more powerful, Alcaraz has more talent, after 5 hours of play the power can fade but the talent remains.
In the end Sinner scored one more point than the Spaniard, he had 3 match points in the fourth set, but the God of tennis that evening had decided differently.
Regardless of the ranking, today Alcaraz has something more on clay, as per Iberian tradition, while Sinner is stronger on fast, on grass we'll see but I opt for the Italian.

The French public was all for Alcaraz, more character, more ass-kissing, more Latin than ours who, like Gustavo Thoeni, is a frontier Italian.
You can't help but like this boy, his simplicity, today, not affected by success; "We are a normal family, today my father wasn't here because he had to work...".
Maybe this country in disarray doesn't deserve a boy like that.
