"(ANSA) - L'AVANA, 16 LUG - La ministra del Lavoro cubana, Marta Elena Feitó, si è dimessa dopo aver scatenato un'accesa polemica dichiarando davanti al Parlamento che sull'isola non ci sono "mendicanti", ma persone "travestite" da indigenti.
Le sue dichiarazioni hanno provocato un insolito rimprovero pubblico da parte del presidente Miguel Díaz-Canel, che ha criticato la sua mancanza di sensibilità.
In un comunicato letto la notte scorsa durante telegiornale della tv di Stato, il governo ha annunciato che Feitó ha rassegnato le dimissioni dopo aver riconosciuto "errori" nel suo discorso a una commissione dell'Assemblea nazionale del potere popolare. L'ufficio politico del Partito comunista di Cuba (Pcc) e il Consiglio di Stato hanno accettato le sue dimissioni a causa della sua "mancanza di obiettività e sensibilità" nell'affrontare questioni considerate chiave per la gestione politica e sociale del Paese"

La nota che ho pubblicato riguarda una triste faccenda che, purtroppo, e' lo specchio dell'attuale classe politica cubana, duole dirlo non molto migliore della nostra.
Dire che i mendicanti siano gente che si traveste e' una stronzata a cui, secondo me, neanche la tipa credeva.
Ha voluto dire una cosa che sembrava allineata col pensiero di una parte della classe politica cubana e gli e' uscita malissimo.

I mendicanti a Cuba ci sono sempre stati, l'impressione e' che da 3/4 anni siano aumentati considerevolmente di numero a causa della crisi economica.
Nei momenti difficili di un paese (Cuba ma anche l'Italia) quello che viene richiesta ai politici o a chi ha politici in famiglia e' la sobrieta'.

Le gente fa fatica, il potere deve cercare il piu' possibile di non ostentare, non raccontare cose che sono poco veritiere, non mancare di rispetto a chi fatica a mettere insieme il pranzo con la cena o addirittura vive in condizioni di assoluta indigenza.
Dire quello che ha detto l'ex ministra e' stupido oltre che offensivo perche' tutti sanno che e' una cazzata.

La gente non si incazza perche' Sandro Castro fa i festini, i figli dei politici hanno sempre abusato del ruolo dei loro padri o mariti, basta vedere la moglie del ministro Urso che, pochi giorni fa che, grazie alla scorta ha saltato la fila in aeroporto.
La gente si incazza perche' questi ostentano, pubblicano, fanno gli sboroni, girano all'Avana con macchine decappottabili che non si sono guadagnate e che non hanno acquistato coi loro soldi.

Se facessero i festini ma se li tenessero per loro allora non succederebbe nulla, ma se una poveraccia che non sa come dare da mangiare ai suoi figli vede uno che si chiama Castro spendere e spandere allora e' chiaro che ci si incazza.
In questi tempi difficili chi governa deve essere sobrio nei comportamenti e nelle parole.
Almeno a Cuba li dimettono dal governo, noi ce li dobbiamo tenere per anni.

(ANSA) - HAVANA, JULY 16 - Cuban Labor Minister Marta Elena Feitó has resigned after sparking a heated controversy by declaring before Parliament that there are not "beggars" on the island, but people "disguised" as indigents.
Her statements prompted an unusual public rebuke from President Miguel Díaz-Canel, who criticized her lack of sensitivity.
In a statement read last night on state television news, the government announced that Feitó had resigned after acknowledging "errors" in her speech to a committee of the National Assembly of People's Power. The Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and the Council of State accepted her resignation due to her "lack of objectivity and sensitivity" in addressing issues considered key to the political and social management of the country.

The note I published concerns a sad matter. Which, unfortunately, is a reflection of the current Cuban political class, sadly not much better than ours.
Saying that beggars are people who dress up is bullshit that, in my opinion, not even the woman believed.
She wanted to say something that seemed aligned with the thinking of a segment of the Cuban political class, and it came out very badly.

Beggars have always been there in Cuba; the impression is that in the last three or four years, their number has increased considerably due to the economic crisis.
In difficult times for a country (Cuba, but also Italy), what is required of politicians or those with politicians in their family is sobriety.

People are struggling; those in power must try as much as possible not to show off, not to say things that aren't true, not to disrespect those who struggle to make ends meet or even live in conditions of absolute poverty.
Saying what the former minister said is stupid as well as offensive because everyone knows it's bullshit.

People don't get pissed off because Sandro Castro throws parties; politicians' children have always abused the role of their fathers or husbands. Just look at Minister Urso's wife, who, a few days ago, thanks to an escort, skipped the airport line.
People get pissed off because these people show off, publish, show off, and drive around Havana in convertibles they didn't earn and didn't buy with their own money.

If they threw parties but kept them to themselves, then nothing would happen. But if a poor woman who doesn't know how to feed her children sees someone named Castro spend and squander, then clearly they get pissed off.
In these difficult times, those in government must be sober in their behavior and words.
At least in Cuba they dismiss them from the government, we have to keep them for years.
