Vacanze a casa 🇮🇹🇬🇧

Tornando, dopo 4 mesi, alla vita di tutti i giorni mi sono reso subito conto di una cosa.
La grande quantita' di gente che questa estate la vacanza l'ha vista con il binocolo.
Vivendo dalle mie parti la cosa puo' essere risultata meno invasiva, abbiamo laghi e torrenti dove passare delle belle giornate, montagne da scalare, rifugi dove si mangia bene spendendo il giusto, fiere e sagre dove passare dei bei momenti.
Chi vive in una citta' , con la canicola estiva, non credo se la sia passata benissimo.

Perche' tanta gente e' rimasta a casa?
Ci hanno fatto credere che fosse per il caro ombrelloni, puo' anche essere vero in alcune zone del paese, ma in linea di massima si tratta di una cazzata.
Semplicemente se vivi nel 2025 con i salari del 2005 e' chiaro come resti poco o nulla per permettersi una vacanza.
Il tipo che abita sotto di me a Valgioie sono 4 anni che non puo' permettersi una vacanza, separato, un figlio, 10 giorni al mese in cassa integrazione, cosa resta per pagarsi una o due settimane al mare?
Nulla.

Un tempo la classe popolare ma anche quella media andava in Romagna dove c'era un buon rapporto qualita'/prezzo, oggi a parte il fatto che anche in quella zona si fanno pagare, la classe media e' scivolata indietro e quella popolare non arriva alla terza settimana ogni mese.
Quindi come si puo' pensare di fare una vacanza che comunque 2/3 mial euro viene a costare?
Parlo anche di famiglie con figli dove lavorano in 2, al limite qualche toccata e fuga di 2/3 giorni, ma la vacanza vera e propria e' rimandata in attesa di tempi migliori.

Come diciamo da questa parti "Suma bin ciapa'".

HOLIDAYS AT HOME

Returning to everyday life after four months, I immediately realized something.
How many people were looking at their summer vacation through binoculars.
Living where I live, it might have seemed less invasive; we have lakes and streams where you can spend beautiful days, mountains to climb, mountain huts where you can eat well for a reasonable price, fairs and festivals where you can have a great time.
Those who live in a city, in the summer heat, I don't think had a great time.

Why did so many people stay home?
They led us to believe it was because of the high cost of beach umbrellas. That may be true in some areas of the country, but generally speaking, it's bullshit.
Simply put, if you live in 2025 on 2005 salaries, it's clear that there's little or nothing left to afford a vacation.
The guy who lives below me in Valgioie hasn't been able to afford a vacation for four years. He's separated, has a child, and is on unemployment benefits for 10 days a month. What's left to pay for a week or two at the beach?

Nothing.

In the past, both the working class and the middle class went to Romagna, where there was a good quality-price ratio. Today, aside from the fact that they charge even in that area, the middle class has slipped behind, and the working class can't even make it to the third week every month.
So how can you even think about taking a vacation that still costs 2-3 million euros?
I'm also talking about families with children where two people work, at most a few quick trips for 2-3 days, but the actual vacation is postponed until better times.

As we say around here, "Suma bin ciapa'."
