Beautiful, right? A tree in bloom is always pleasing, always a pleasant sight, yes, a tree in bloom, but this image isn't from a few months ago. I took it just a little while ago, on my house's cherry tree. If you also pay attention to the various leaves in the images, you'll notice that several are green, but many are brown. The reason is very simple.

Remember the tornado from a few weeks ago? It blew, swept across my front yard and the surrounding areas, creating various destruction and desolation, including plants and trees. This cherry tree was probably devastated by the tornado, to the point of switching seasons, and blooming at a time of year that had nothing to do with its seasonality. This is a period when plants tend to shed leaves, going dormant for the now approaching cold season. On the contrary, the cherry tree has started to bloom, and you can't really tell anything anymore...

My partner's son had mentioned this fact, this circumstance, about this cherry tree that had suddenly decided to bloom. I actually passed by two days ago and hadn't noticed anything, or, if I remember correctly, just half a blossom. This evening it was crazy. There's no longer any doubt that it was actually blooming. It's decided to continue these flowers. Who knows if it won't even surprise us further by producing its delicious fruit?

Perhaps I'm exaggerating, thinking that it could fully ripen the cherries, but given how things are going, I don't know to what extent my assumption is off the mark, because flowering in mid-September is already unusual, so getting the cherry tree to ripen later might also help...

Bello, vero? Un albero in fiore è sempre gradevole, sempre di piacevole visione, già, un albero in fiore, ma questa immagine non è vecchia di qualche mese fa, l'ho scattata proprio poco fa, al ciliegio di casa, se prestate attenzione anche alle varie foglie presenti nelle immagini, noterete che diverse sono di colore verde, ma parecchie sono di colorazione marrone, il motivo è molto semplice?

Ricordate la tromba d'aria di qualche settimana fa? Ha soffiato, spazzato il lungo e in largo il piazzale di casa e le zone limitrofe, creando distruzione e desolazione varie, comprese le piante e gli alberi, questo ciliegio probabilmente è stato devastato dal passaggio della tromba d'aria, a tal punto da scambiare le stagioni, e andando a fiorire in un momento dell'anno che non c'entrava nulla con la relativa stagionalità, questo è un periodo in cui le piante tendono a perdere foglie, ad andare in riposo per l'ormai vicina stagione fredda, al contrario il ciliegio ha preso a fiorire, non si capisce davvero più nulla...

Mi aveva accennato, il figlio della mia compagna, questo fatto, questa circostanza, di questo ciliegio che improvvisamente aveva deciso di darsi alla fioritura, sono passato effettivamente due giorni fa e non avevo notato nulla, oppure, se non ricordo male, giusto una mezza infiorescenza, questa sera è stato pazzesco, dubbi sul fatto che fosse effettivamente in fioritura non ce ne sono più, lui ha preso la decisione di portare avanti questi fiori, chissà se addirittura non ci sorprenderà ulteriormente andando a generare pure i suoi gustosissimi frutti??

Forse ho esagerato, a pensare che possa giungere sino a una completa maturazione delle ciliegie, ma visto come sta andando avanti la questione, non so fino a che punto la mia supposizione sia fuori luogo, perché già la fioritura a metà settembre è insolita, fare anche il passaggio successivo della maturazione delle ciliegie ci può anche fare...
