It's an old saying, a proverb, I think Italian, that I wrote in the title of this report of a game I played very recently on the pleasant game of Steem-Pong, which basically says that things don't always work out the way we would like, and in fact that's exactly what happened, as far as my participation today in this very pleasant retro game, which goes by the name of Steem-Pong is concerned...

I immediately understood that it wouldn't be easy, a few hundred points and I had already lost a good part of my lives, remaining with only 5 lives at my disposal, in such a perspective I could also have, with a nice last-minute twist, tried to correct the tendency to a performance in a minority tone, but I didn't make it, because I lost yet another life, and yet another, finding myself that I hadn't yet passed the threshold of 600 points, the level that I consider minimum to obtain a score worthy of being called such...

I must also admit that I played with the handbrake on, in the sense that I was constantly checking the progress of my performance out of the corner of my eye, when I saw that I had hit 600 points, I felt relaxed in a certain sense, having achieved what I have always considered the primary objective to make a game acceptable, I was making some additional small expectations, nothing particularly high, only maybe getting close to, I don't know, 1000 points, it would have been a great satisfaction for me, considering the assumptions from which I started, I didn't make it, as you can clearly see from the screenshot that I always have the pleasure of attaching, my game stopped at 739 points, I think that a lot of time has passed since the last time I achieved such a low score, patience, it will mean that next time I will try to do better, in any case, I was happy to have taken part in this pleasant entertainment that goes by the name of Steem-Pong...

E' un vecchio detto, proverbio, penso italiano, quello che ho scritto nel titolo di questo mio resoconto di una partita effettuata pochissimo tempo fa sul gradevole gioco di Steem-Pong, che dice in buona sostanza che non sempre le cose riescono come noi vorremmo, e in effetti è stato proprio così, per quanto concerne la mia partecipazione odierna a questo piacevolissimo gioco retrò, che risponde appunto al nome di Steem-Pong...

Ho subito capito che non sarebbe stato facile, poche centinaia di punti e già avevo perso una buona parte delle vite, rimanendo solamente con 5 Vite a mia disposizione, in un'ottica del genere avrei anche potuto, con un bel colpo di coda, tentare di correggere la tendenza a una prestazione in tono minoritario, ma non ce l'ho fatta, perché un'altra vita ancora ho perso, e ancora una, ritrovandomi che non avevo ancora passato la soglia dei 600 punti, il livello che io ritengo minimo per ottenere un punteggio degno di essere chiamato tale...

Devo anche ammettere che ho giocato con il freno a mano tirato, nel senso che controllavo costantemente con la coda dell'occhio il progredire della mia performance, quando ho visto che avevo centrato i 600 punti, mi sono sotto un certo punto di vista come rilassato, avendo conseguito quello che io ritengo da sempre come il primario obiettivo per rendere accettabile una partita, mi stavo facendo delle piccole aspettative ulteriori, nulla di particolarmente elevato, unicamente magari avvicinarmi che ne so, ai 1000 punti, sarebbe stata una bella soddisfazione per me, considerando i presupposti dai quali sono partito, non ce l'ho fatta, come potete ben vedere dallo screenshot che ho sempre il piacere di allegare, la mia partita si è arrestata a 739 punti, penso che sia trascorso diverso tempo dall'ultima volta che ho conseguito un punteggio così basso, pazienza, vorrà dire che la prossima volta tenterò di fare meglio, in ogni caso, sono rimasto contento di aver preso parte a questo piacevole intrattenimento che risponde al nome di Steem-Pong...
