As you can see from the score I actually achieved, I achieved very little, yet the promise was decidedly good. I was confident in my abilities and potential, not to mention the fact that the only line I managed to score was created almost immediately, so I had the mistaken idea that this evening too would be, more or less, a walk in the park...

Yes, of course, why not?!?! On the contrary, it was a game that I could almost define as cursed, because it only created great expectations in me, as I saw several lines that could not be realized because I missed that last little square that would have allowed me to significantly increase my final score. This fact, this circumstance occurred at least 4 or maybe 5 times. I had already seen myself with the points of the full line in my pocket, as if it were only a matter of time to increase my final performance. On the contrary, it was a complete debacle, because I have never fallen so low, in terms of score achieved...

Ifs, buts, and maybes don't yield great results, sure. They may serve as extemporaneous justifications, but deep down, they're a waste of time. So all that's left to do is roll up our sleeves, pay more attention in the next few games, turn the page, and move forward, as quickly as possible. Perhaps the next game will bring me a nice comeback, or at least I fully hope so...

Eehhh sì, direi proprio di sì, questa sera devo proprio accettare il fatto che non sia andata bene, la mia partita sul piacevolissimo gioco denominato Pentris, perché, come potete ben vedere al punteggio che ho effettivamente conseguito, ho realizzato davvero poco, eppure le premesse erano decisamente buone, ero convinto delle mie possibilità e delle mie potenzialità, senza assolutamente dimenticare il fatto che l'unica riga che sono riuscito a concretizzare l'ho creata quasi immediatamente, per cui mi ero fatto la sbagliata idea che anche questa sera sarebbe stata, più o meno, una passeggiata di successo...

Sì, certo, come no?!?! Al contrario, è stata una partita che potrei quasi definire come maledetta, perché ha creato in me solamente delle grandi aspettative, in quanto ho visto diverse righe che non si sono potute realizzare perché mi è mancato quell'ultimo quadratino che mi avrebbe consentito di aumentare decisamente il mio punteggio finale, questo fatto, questa circostanza si è verificato almeno 4 o forse 5 volte, mi ero già visto con i punti della riga piena in tasca, come se fosse solamente una questione temporale il fatto di aumentare la mia prestazione finale, al contrario è stata una piena debacle, perché non sono mai caduto così in basso, a livello di punteggio conseguito...

Con i se, con i ma e con i forse non si fanno grandi risultati, certo, possono rappresentare delle estemporanee giustificazioni, ma che, sotto sotto, lasciano parecchio il tempo che trovano, per cui rimane solamente da rimboccarsi le maniche, prestare maggiore attenzione nelle prossime partite, girare pagina e andare avanti, il più velocemente possibile, magari proprio dalla prossima partita ci sarà per me una bella riscossa, o almeno me lo auguro pienamente...
