Passing Through - Photography
During raining season and farming time when I traveled to a friend's village where we plant our crops, there was a man we intended to visit and get some cash crops from.
The night before the day we will go there, it rained heavily. Then the following day, we headed out in the morning. Upon getting to a certain river, the water has gotten higher and above the rocks level where we usually put our feet and cross.
We had to improvise by finding another close route where there were rocks. However, there was no passage road but we headed and made way through the bushy path before bursting out to the main route. There, we headed to the farmer's home.
Hello @mboma That sounds like a real adventure and also a true picture of rural farming life. Heavy rain can change everything overnight, especially rivers and footpaths, but you and your friends didn’t give up. Instead, you adapted by finding another way through the bush, which shows courage and determination. Moments like these remind us how farming is not just about planting and harvesting, but also about facing nature’s challenges with patience and creativity. In the end, reaching the farmer’s home after such an experience must have felt very satisfying.
