Ciao a tutti, amiche e amici di Italy e di Steemit.
Anche questa settimana ho scelto di fare il mio Power Up.
Non è solo una questione di numeri o di accumulare Steem Power, per me è soprattutto il segnale che continuo a credere in questa blockchain e nella sua community.
Anche se riesco a versare sempre meno a causa del prezzo di Steem troppo basso, non mollo e anche oggi, 22/09, ho versato 40 Steem, arrivando così a 230 settimane consecutive in cui partecipo alla campagna #welovepowerups.
Perché fare Power Up?
✔️ Aumenta il potere di voto
✔️ Permette di supportare meglio gli altri
✔️ Rafforza la reputazione
✔️ Rende tutta la rete più solida
Ma dietro a tutto questo c’è di più e forse ce ne dimentichiamo a causa delle rewards troppo basse.
Invece dobbiamo ricordarci che Steemit, rispetto a tanti altri social, è uno dei pochi spazi davvero liberi, dove non ci sono algoritmi che decidono cosa possiamo vedere o dire, e dove il valore nasce dalle persone, non dalle pubblicità.
Viviamo in un mondo in cui il free speech viene tanto sbandierato ma raramente rispettato.
Qui invece siamo noi utenti, con i nostri post e i nostri voti, a custodire questa libertà.
Ecco perché il Power Up non è solo una routine, ma un impegno a mantenere vivo e protetto questo spazio unico.
Noi della Comunità Italiana, nonostante tutte le difficoltà del momento, continuiamo a rimboccarci le maniche e a proporre tante attività e servizi pensati per rendere più viva e accogliente l’esperienza su Steemit.

I especially appreciate you highlighting the importance of Steemit as a truly free space where we, the users, control the value and protect free speech. And the sheer number of activities and contests the Italian community is running is incredible! From ItalyGame Fantaleague to Steem Retro Cup, there's something for everyone.
